Helpful Info for a Happy Stay

To help everyone enjoy their time at Hayfield, we've put together a few important points. They’re simple, respectful, and ensure the site stays peaceful and well-loved.
 

Checkin: from 3pm, if you'd like an earlier checkin please let us know. Latest arrival 9pm.

Checkout: 11am Camping, Bell Tent 12 noon

Quiet Time: This is a nature-loving space, not a party pitch. Please keep noise low—especially at night—so all guests can unwind.

Leave No Trace: Tidy up after yourselves and use the litter and recycling facilities provided. Let’s keep the field as lovely as you found it.
 

Parking: Vehicles are parked in a gated area next to the field. We don't allow cars on the field—but it’s just a short stroll with luggage.
 

Benches & Furnishings: Most pitches include a wooden outdoor bench, and we do our best to accommodate all guests. At busier times, benches may be allocated on arrival. The Bell Tent has its own bench and firepit.
 

Fires & Cooking: Guests are welcome to bring their own BBQs or firepits (or hire on site). If using your own, fireproof mats must be placed underneath to protect the grass. Disposable BBQs are not permitted.

Fire Safety: Open fires are only permitted in the designated fire pits. Please use cooking facilities responsibly.
 

Dogs: Hayfield is dog-friendly, within reason. You're welcome to bring up to two medium-size dogs in the Bell Tent, but do check with us in advance. Dogs must be kept on leads, fully supervised, and never left unattended in tents. Please clear up after your dog. We cannot accept dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Children: Little explorers are more than welcome! To keep everyone safe and serene, children must be supervised at all times.

Essentials: Towels aren’t provided as standard—please bring your own, or hire them onsite if needed.

Damage Deposit: A refundable deposit applies for furnished Bell Tent bookings.

Unplug & Relax: No electricity or WiFi here—just birdsong and fresh air. Emergency phone charging is available if needed.
