Meander through quiet country lanes by bike or foot, or follow riverside cycle routes along the River Vyrnwy and River Severn, both just a short ride away.

For breathtaking vistas and an adrenaline fix, Llanymynech Hills Nature Reserve delivers with dramatic views and thrilling rock-climbing opportunities. And if you fancy a unique golfing story, head to the nearby course where your tee-off and final putt happen in two different countries!

Just up the road, explore the Llanymynech Rocks Nature Reserve and Limeworks Heritage Centre, home to rare Hofmann lime kilns. Rodney’s Pillar, visible from Hayfield, sits proudly atop the Breidden Hills and is well worth the climb.
