“ Liked: Hidden gem! Beautiful, quiet, well kept, small site. Immaculately clean toilet, hot shower and washing facilities (cleaned daily). Phil is a friendly, helpful chap and nothing is too much trouble. He and his wife clearly care for their site and want those camping to enjoy their stay. Each pitch is level, with plenty of space - well distanced, providing privacy. Benches and tables provided, with logs available to purchase on site for use of the fire pits. Local village has plenty of facilities, petrol station and takeaways, if needed. Perfect location to explore mid and North Wales. We have already booked to return in September!

“ Liked: Nice level site with plenty of space. Adequate facilities for a solo hiker on Offa's Dyke. There is a Morrisons supermarket in the village, so easy to resupply and get fresh sandwiches the next day. The facilities at the site include hot shower and toilet and wash basin. Simple but clean and practical. Remember to take a head torch when using the loo at night. Barely a stone's throw from the Path, which was great.

Liked: Everything!
We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived, good correspondence prior to our arrival.
Phil was extremely helpful, even helped carry my dads tent. 👍🏻
The site is lovely and peaceful, the facilities are spotless and a nice hot shower.
A perfect spot to explore Offas Dyke and Snowdonia.
We will definitely be back later in the season.
Many thanks and all the best,

Liked: If we had known how cosy and comfortable our stay would be we'd have stayed at least another night! Great value for money. With so much included in the tent already. A home from home. Very cute boho decor, with cosy fairy lights and a fantastic wood burner inside. A fab breakfast bap in the morning made by the Campsite Owners was just the icing on the cake for us. Would highly recommend to any couple looking to get away for a romantic break. Lots to see and do nearby. Nice hot outdoor shower and compost bin didnt put us off add we'd definitely like to go back.
Disliked: No real faults to the site in general, just did not see the sign on the gate upon entering. He's told us he'll be upgrading to a bigger sign soon. We can't wait to see it again.

Liked: I loved this thoughtfully put together campsite. The level field has been left as a natural meadow with a line of trees running the length of it. We received a very warm welcome and Phil was a friendly and attentive host who charged our phones and even dried our wet clothes for us. We were able to purchase logs and have a fire in one of the purpose made fire pits. Although we didn't stay in one the bell tents looked incredible, much better quality than ones we've seen at other campsites. There is a compost toilet, a really good hot shower and a belfast sink for washing, all beautiful built.
It's location was perfect for us as it is only just off the Offa's dyke path which we were walking. There is also a shop just around the corner so we could easily replenish our food stocks.
