Perfectly positioned between Welshpool, Oswestry, and Shrewsbury, our site is easy to reach just off the A483—and just moments from the iconic Offa’s Dyke Path.

Glamping in the Bell Tent​

For those who love the magic of camping with a touch of comfort, our Bell Tent offers a peaceful retreat beneath the stars. Lovingly furnished with a full-sized double bed, it’s perfect for a snug stay for two. If you’re bringing little explorers, up to two children can be accommodated with additional single beds—ensuring a restful night for the whole family.

You’re free to tailor your experience: choose the Bell Tent with or without cooking facilities, depending on your needs. Booking options are simple and flexible, allowing you to craft the stay that suits you best.

Outside, settle into your own private seating area beside a crackling fire pit—ideal for evenings spent stargazing or sharing stories. If you opt for our added cooking station, you’ll have access to a sheltered awning with a double gas stove, making meal prep easy and enjoyable, even when the breeze whispers through the trees.

 

​Camping

At Hayfield, space is yours to savour. We offer up to five generously sized grass tent pitches, each nestled in open meadow surroundings and completely off-grid for a true back-to-nature experience. There’s no set limit on tent dimensions—because we believe the joy of camping is in freedom, not restrictions.
Instead of tent size, we focus on your group size. Whether you’re a solo adventurer, a couple seeking quiet, or a small gathering of friends or family, your pitch will reflect the needs of your party—giving you room to relax, roam, and truly settle in.

 

​About our site

​Hayfield truly lives up to its name—a quiet meadow retreat where nature is given space to thrive. In the early months, the grass is left to grow freely, creating a soft, wild tapestry of green that dances in the breeze. Meandering paths wind gently through the site, leading to hidden camping spots nestled among the tall grass. Come July, the hay is thoughtfully harvested, revealing a neat, verdant landscape beneath. Bordered by tall graceful poplar trees and just a short stroll from the heart of the village, Hayfield blends countryside charm with quiet convenience—a perfect balance of seclusion and connection.

 

Site Facilities​​

Here at Hayfield, comfort meets simplicity in the most delightful way. Our thoughtfully maintained toilet and shower block offers everything you need to unwind and refresh. The hot water shower—often praised by guests as a memorable experience—is partially open to the breeze, while remaining fully private. It’s a gentle reminder that even daily routines can feel magical in nature, as you sense the cool air around your ankles and the warmth from above.You’ll also find a hand washing basin and a dedicated area for washing up, along with easy-to-use recycling facilities to help us tread lightly on the land. Fresh drinking water is always available, because staying hydrated should never be a chore.
